Contribute something to Haywards Heath Life

We would love residents and friends of Haywards Heath to get involved in the magazine. That could be in a variety of ways. The best method to get in touch in the first instance about editorial content, is usually by email to: editor@haywardsheath.life

Our goal is to not only carry news, but also stories of people in the town and events which are happening or have already happened. We will celebrate the successes of folk in the town who may have completed the marathon, raised money for charity, expanded their business or got a new project off the ground, for example.

Here’s some other ways you can get involved.

List your event
Use our monthly What’s On in and around Haywards Heath, to promote your event for free

Take a cover photo
We are always looking for new and creative shots of the town. Email best resolution JPGs to photos@haywardsheath.life - if we use your image on a printed cover, you’ll receive a £20 shopping voucher for the high street.

Say a ‘thank you’
If your organisation wishes to say thanks to the community - send us a note in.

Are you starting a business on the high street?
Residents always like to know changes to the high street. If you know of any new shops coming - that is great content for us - we would love to talk to them.

History articles about Haywards Heath
We know many people enjoy finding out the roots of the town. If you would like to share your knowledge with a wider audience in print, we’d love to talk to you.

Book reviews
Adult or childrens’ books - it’s always good to share about a great book you’ve just read. Send us in no more than 250 words.

Are you trying to recruit volunteers?
If your organisation or event is after some extra help, we could run a news item and put the request out to our Haywards Heath readership.

Feature articles
Be it about events that have just happened (photo round-up), arts events or the local Scout group - people love reading about genuinely local topics. We are always on the lookout for features to cover in Haywards Heath Life.

News stories
Whether its changes to lampposts, school event write-ups, promoting a charity fundraiser or celebrating a neighbour who’s done something incredible - we would love to share good news stories in Haywards Heath Life.

I applaud David, and all the Kipper Life team, for creating and developing outstanding local magazines - and particularly Lindfield Life. I look forward to see Haywards Heath Life go from strength to strength.
